Current design choices.
The site uses responsive layouts, text-based dropdown navigation, keyboard focus styles, labeled form controls, descriptive image alternatives, reduced-motion support and high-contrast content areas. Essential actions are available without hover. All core article text is ordinary HTML.
Household needs.
Accessibility belongs in the preparedness plan itself: communication preferences, transport, building access, essential equipment, caregivers and the time needed to leave. Ask the person what works for them and coordinate individual needs with the relevant support services.
Known limits.
External retailers and official services have their own accessibility characteristics. The printable resources are readable PDFs; they are not claimed to be fully tagged accessible forms. HTML versions and text source are included where relevant, and further accessibility testing is a production task.
Report a barrier.
Use the configured live contact route to report the page, device or assistive technology and the action that failed. Do not send personal health information through a general form. The publisher contact connection is pending in the preview.
